BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. -- A police chase that began in Thornton Thursday morning ended almost 20 miles away with the suspect vehicle crashing into a ditch. The driver of the suspect vehicle died, and a female passenger was seriously hurt.

Thornton Police responded to a call of a robbery at an apartment building at 2525 E. 104th Ave. just before 1:00 a.m. Two men told officers they were robbed, and then there was a fight. One of the victims received minor injuries.
