Adams County officials plan land-use and transportation for area

Adams County Begins Comprehensive, Transportation and Hazard Analysis Planning Efforts
The Adams County Planning & Development Department is in the beginning stages of creating new Comprehensive, Transportation and Hazard Analysis plans for the county. The project, Imagine Adams County, is an unprecedented effort that will weave together the county’s long-term plans into three separate, but closely-coordinated documents. Clarion and Associates, a national land-use and real estate consulting firm, was chosen to lead this effort for Adams County.

The process will be based on extensive public feedback and participation. Several community meetings will be held throughout the Imagine Adams County planning process. Experts in land use, transportation, hazard mitigation and risk analysis will be available to answer questions. Adams County residents are encouraged to attend one of the following community meetings and weigh-in to help shape Adams County’s future.
