Recreation center to be closed week of Aug. 22 for maintenance

The Northglenn Recreation Center will be closed the week of Aug. 22 for annual maintenance.

This closure includes the Northglenn Senior Center and D.L. Parsons Theatre.

'Leftover' hunting licenses go on sale Aug. 9

DENVER - Thousands of big game hunting licenses that did not sell during the license application and draw process will go on sale to the public at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9 at wildlife offices and Colorado Parks and Wildlife license retailers statewide.

Sign up for 7th Annual Adult Wiffleball Tournament

Teams of three to five adults at least 18 years old are invited to participate in this one-day tournament. All equipment will be provided. Participants receive T-shirts and awards will be given to the top finishers.

Register now for Mudapalooza V

Time to get the sunscreen, old sneakers and duct tape – Mudapalooza, the city’s co-ed mud volleyball tournament, is back for a fifth year.

Cost is $325 per team. Registration ends at 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 13.

Teams are guaranteed at least five games. Each team can have eight to 12 players, with eight on the court at a time. At all times at least half the players on the court must be female. All participants must be at least 18 years old.
